Mystery Shopping or Secret Shopping is a tool used to deduce the quality of service being provide by it's employee's. Mystery shoppers pose as regular customers and perform very specific tasks as instructed by the company. They then give a detailed report of their experience, this is done no more than forty-eight hours after the initial shop.
